Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably the following-bills :

House bill entitled an Act to add additional Sections to the
Code of Public General Laws, Article 30, title "Crimes and
Punishments," providing for the punishment of abduction of
children.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments, Section 5 of Article 13, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Bastardy and Fornication," and also
to add additional Sections to said Article.

Which were read the second time.

Mr. Lloyd, from the Committee on Finance, reported fa-
vorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4
of chapter 436, of the Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to regu-
late the pay of the State's Attorney for Prince George's
county.

Which was read the second time.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act appropriating certain sums of
money to Thomas Donaldson and James Revell for legal ser-
vices rendered the State,

With the following proposed amendments :

Add as Sec. 2. "Be it enacted, That the Comptroller of
the Treasury be and he is authorized to pay, such legal and
taxed costs, including the Auditor's fee, as may be taxed by
the Judge of the Superior Court of Baltimore city, in the case
now pending in said Corut, between the State of Maryland
vs. the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore city, provided
said costs and charges shall not exceed the sum of $1,000."

Which was adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time.
