Submitted the following
REPORT.
The Committee of Conference on the disagreeing vote of the
two Houses, on House printed bill No. 54, have had the same
under consideration, and recommend to their respective bodies
that the Senate recede from its fifth, sixth, seventh, ninth
and tenth amendments, that the House of Delegates will con-
cur in the first, second, third, fourth, eighth, eleventh,
twelfth, thirteenth, fourteenth, filteenth, sixteenth, seven-
teenth, eighteenth and nineteenth amendments; and also re-
commend to their respective Houses to amend page 2, line 5,
after the word "appeals," by striking out "one thousand,"
and insert "nine hundred;" on page 4, line 17, by striking
out the word "ten," and insert "twenty," under "Legisla-
tive;" on page 5, line 2, after the word "necessary," insert
"to be expended under the control of the Comptroller."
