Which was read the second time.
Mr. Lee, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 82 to 94, in-
clusive, of Article 7, of the Public Local Laws, relating to
the town of Uniontown in Carroll county.
Which was read the second time.

Mr. McCulloh, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 98,of Article
1, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title, "Allegany
county," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read the second time.

Mr. Freeman, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 63 to 77, in-
clusive, of Article 8, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Bal-
timore county, and chapter 371 of the Acts of 1872, so far as
the same relates to Baltimore county, entitled "County Com-
missioners," and to enact the following in lieu thereof.

Which was read the first time.

Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate ja sum of money
for the repair and improvement of the State House.

Being upon its second reading,

Mr. Suit submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section 1, line 13, strike out "six" and insert "one."

Which was rejected.

Mr. Phelps submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PEOPOSED.

Section 1, line 13, strike out "six," and insert "three."

Which was rejected.

Said bill was then read the second time and ordered to be
