part of the Senate, and three on the part of the House, to
Tisit the Deaf aad Dumb Asylum at Frederick, and the
House of Reformation and Instruction for Colored Children
at Chelteham, Prince George's county, and examine into the
condition of those Institutions, and report by bill or other-
wise.

We have appointed on the part of the Senate, Messrs.
Aydelotte and Mudd.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.

Mr. Aydelotte, (in accordance with notice previously given,)
moved to suspend the Sixtieth Rule of the Senate.

Which was determined in the negative by yeas and nays

rendered at the opening of the present session, and the
Chairman of the Committee on Claims is hereby directed to
pay said amount.
