Humphreys,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Register of
Wills for Harford county, to continue the index or key to
guardians accounts in his office, from 1845 to the present
time, and continue the same thereafter, and to authorize the
County Commissioners to provide compensation therefor,

Was read ths third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

Said bill was then returned to the House of Delegates.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact chapter
279, of the Acts of 1870, relating to "Landlord and Tenant."

Being upon its third reading,
On motion by Mr, Mudd,

Said bill was recommitted to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the liquor traffiic
and prevent intemperance in Calvert county.

Being upon its third reading,

Mr. Mudd submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Amend by inserting "Charles county," in the title and
the body of the bill.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Stevens submitted the following amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out "malt liquors."
Which was rejected.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the third time and
