Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 95, of the
Code of Public General Laws, by adding an additional Sec-
tion thereto.

Which were read the first time.

Also, favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chap. 325, of the Acts
of 1872, entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 59, of the Act of
1868, chap. 471, entitled an Act to repeal Art. 26, of the Code
of Public General Laws, and to enact a substitute, and to
repeal Sec. 32, of Art. 16, Sec. 99 to 103, of the same Ar-
ticle, and Sections 33 to 43, of Art. 88, of the Code of Pub-
lic General Laws, and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

Mr. Dennis, from the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, reported unfavorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act requiring persons furnishing
"meals and lodgings to transient visitors or sojourners in Gar-
rett county, to pay a license therefor.

Which was adopted.

Mr. Humphreys, from the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, reported unfavorably the following bills :

Senate hill entitled an Act to provide for the better ac-
commodation and comfort of passengers on street railway
cars.

Senate bill entitled an Act to add an additional Section
to Article 16, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Chancery," to come after Section 79, of said Article,

Which were adopted.

Mr. Lloyd, from the Committee on Finance, reported fa-
vorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to require the Comptroller to
revise the settlement heretofore made with Horace Resley,
late Clerk of Allegany county, and to pay to said Resley
such amount as may be found due him on such revision.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Dennis, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported unfavorably the following bills :

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 3 of chapter
373, of the Acts of 1867, relating to the appointment of a
Stenographer for the Orphans' Coart of Baltimore city, and

to re-enact the same with amendments.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 10, of Article
51, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Justices of the
Peace," as amended by the Act of 1870, chapter 39, and to

re-enact the same with amendments.
Which were adopted.
