On motion by Mr. Stevens,

The vote by which said order was adopted, was reconsidered,
When,
Mr. Stevens submitted the following amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Add to the end of order, "and his per diem be paid for the
balance of the Session."
Which was adopted.

The question recurring upon the adoption of said order, as
amended,

It was adopted.

House bill entitled an Act to amend and alter the charter
of the city of Annapolis.
Being upon its third reading,

Mr. Duke moved that said bill lie over and be printed.
Which was determined in the negative by yeas and nays
as follows:
