On motion by Mr. Bannon,

The vote by which said bill failed to receive a Constitu-
tional majority,

Was reconsidered, and,

On motion by Mr. Stevens,
Said bill was ordered to lie over.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 4,15 and 16,
of Art. 4, of the Code of Public Loc.il Laws, title "City of
Baltimore," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.

Bannon, Lee,
Cooper, Lawrence,
Freeman, Stevens,
Getty, Steiner,
Gornian, Suit,
Hepbron, Walsh—15.

NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.
The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliver-
ed the following message:

BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,

March 20th, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Senate:

We herewith return House bill No. 126, being the Gener-
al Appropriation Bill for 1876, with proposed amendments,
and respectfully ask your Honorable Body to recede from the
said amendments.
