NIGHT SESSION.

MONDAY, March 20th, 1876.
Senate met at 8 P. M.
Present at roll call the following Senators:
Messrs. Aydelotte, Bannon, Cooper, Freeman, Getty,
Hepbron, Humphreys, Lee, Stevens, Steiner, Suit,Walsh—12

The roll having been called, and a quorum not being
present,

On motion by Mr. Suit,

The Senate took a recess until 8.30 P. 11.

The hour of 8 30 P. M. having arrived,

The roll was again called, and the following Senators an-
swered to their names

Messrs. Aydelotte, Bannon, Cooper, Freeman, Getty, Gor-
man, Hepbron, Humphreys, Joyce, Lee, Lawrence, Stevens
Steiner, Suit, Walsh—15.

A quorum being present, the Senate procee'ded to the con-
sideration of bills upon their second and third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to establish a free bridge over
the Patapsco river, between Baltimore city and Anne Arun-
del county, at or near the present site of Light Street
Bridge,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows :

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. Aydelottt, Joyce,
Bannon, Lee,
Cooper, Lawrence,
Freeman, Stevens,
Getty, Steiner,
Gorman, Suit,
Hepbron, Walsh—15
Humphreys,

NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill wag then sent to the House of Delegates.
Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the
Citizens' Security and Land Company of Baltimore city, by
enlarging its powers,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
