Sub-Section 4, line 2, strike nut "precincts" and insert
"wards."

Sub Section 8, line 2, strike out "precincts" and insert
"wards."

Which were adopted.

Mr. Steiner submitted the following amendment :
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section 3, line 10. add at the and of line "10th remarks"

Which was adopted.

Also, by Mr. Steiaer,

Section 4, line 2, insert after "precincts," "who shall ap-
ply for registration."

Which was adopted.

Also, by Mr. Steiner,

Section 4, line 16, strikeout 'lieu;'' and "thereof,'' in
line 17, and insert "the tenth column." '

Which was adopted.

Mr. Suit submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Add after word "established," in line 20, Section 4, the
following: "That any one who is not registered on or beiore
the day of election, may be entitled to vote, whether he be
registered or not, by making affidavit in due form of law ;
that he possesses the requisite qualifications as prescribed by
the Constitution and laws oi the State to vote at, said election,
the truth of which must be certified to under oath by some one
known to the Judge or Judges of Election."

Which was rejected by yeas and nays as follows :
