Which were read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re enact with
amendments, chapter 209 of the Acts of 1874, which was an
Act regulating the the right of fishing in the Patuxent river
and its tributaries.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

House bill entitled an Act to prevent Hogs and Geese from
running at large in and within two miles of the village of
Urbana, in Frederick county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Steiner, Mudd and Suit.

House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay William B. Morgan, of Harford county, money for
taxes erroneously paid by him into the Treasruy.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to issue the bonds of the City of
Baltimore, to an amount not exceeding the sum of $750,000,
to provide means for extending and improving the Court
House in said city.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Balti-
more city Senators.

The President announced the unfinished business to be
The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 1 to 13,
both inclusive, of Article 44 of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Maryland Hospital," and to enact in lieu thereof
the following to be arranged as Sections of said Article of
the Code.

Mr. Bannou submitted the following amendment:

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
"Strikeout Section 11."
Pending the consideration of said amendment,

On motion by Mr. Bannon,
Said bill was recommitted to the Committee on Finance.

On motion by Mr. Knight,
