Said bill as amended, was then read a second time.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 439 of the
Acts of 1874, in so far as the same relates to Harford county,
and to enact the following in lieu thereof to apply to Har-
ford county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to provide for the repairs of the
public roads of St. Mary's county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Lawrence, Hepbron and Bannon.

House bill entitled an Act to prevent in St. Mary's county
the removal or improper disposition of property that has
been levied upon.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to provide for an additional
Justice of the Peace for District No. 4, of Charles county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Mudd, Hepbron and Ford.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commissioners
of Oxford, Talbot county, to convey to the Board of County
School Commissioners of Talbot county, a portion of a vacant
public lot in the town of Oxford, for the purpose of erecting
thereon a public school house.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Lloyd, Walsh and Lee.

House bill entitled an Act to add additional Sestions to
Article 19 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Somerset
county," sub-title "Fences." to be known as Section 53 to
57 inclusive.
