AMENDMENTS PEOPOSED.

Section 2, afer the word "enacted," add the following:
"And said Board of County Commissioners shall meet as
often as necessary, from the first day of January until the
annual levy shall be made, but shall not meet after said levy
and until the first day of January next succeeding, except in
the first Tuesday of each month."

"Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
from the date of its passage."
Which were concurred in.
And said bill passed by yeas and nays as follows:

Dennis, Lawrence,

Also, returned,

Senate bill entitled an Act authorizing and directing the
State Librarian to furnish from the State Library, for the
use of the Circuit Court for Wicomico county, a full set of
the Decisions of the Court of Appeals, and of the Acts of As-
sembly and other books,

Endorsed : "Passed by yeas and nays, with the following
proposed amendments:"

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Sec. 1, line 3, strike out the words "a full set of."
Line o, after the word "Appeals," insert "from the year
1851 to," and strike out the word "before,"

Lines 6 and 7, strike out the words "Evans' Practice,
Barroll's Chancery Practice, Bland's Chancery Reports."

The question being upon concurring in the said amend-
ments,

On motion by Mr. Humphreys,
Said bill and amendments were ordered to lie over.
Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
.reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 875 of Art. 4,
of the Code ol Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore,"
sub-title "Taxes and Loans," and to amend and re-enact

the same with amendments.
Which was read the first time.
