Which was read and referred to the Committee on Corpo-
rations.

Also by Mr. Hepbron,

The memorial of Wm. S. Maxwell and others, citizens of
Kent county, praying the passage of an Act authorizing the
appointment of an additional Justice of the Peace in the 2d
Election District oi Kent county.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Hepbron, Law-
rence and Bannon.

On motion by Mr. Gorman,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill to repeal Section 43, of Article 56, of the Code of
Public General Laws relating to "Licenses," and to re-enact
the same with amendments.
On motion by Lee,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Lee, Walsh and Brewer to
introduce a bill to authorize the County Commissioners of
Carroll county to repair, and to build an addition to the Court
House in said county, and to borrow money for that purpose
to issue bonds for the payment of the same, and to levy taxes
on the assessable property in said county, to redeem said
bonds and pay the interest thereon.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and delivered
the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to require the Commissioners of
Prince George's county to pay annually to the Commission-
ers of the village of Bladensburg, the amount of the road tax
levied or taxed upon property within the limits of said cor-
poration.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Suit,
Humphreys and Dennis.

House bill entitled an Act for the protection of birds in
Prince George's and Anne Arundel counties.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Bannon, Suit and Dennis.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 1, 2, 3 and
4, of chapter 436, of the Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to regu-
late the pay of the State's Attorney for Prince George's
county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act for the protection of fish in the
waters of Garrett county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Getty, Ford and Lawrence.
