Heory Watson Children's Aid Society of Baltimore, as the
same was enacted by the Act of 1872, chapter 14,
Endorsed "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to grant, certain additional
powers to the Johns Hopkins University, a corporation in-
corporated under the General Laws of Maryland,

Endorsed "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 7, 17, 20 and
22, of the Acts of 1872, chapter 251, and re-enact the same
with amendments.

Endorsed "Passed by yeas and nays "

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 199, of the
Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to authorize the construction of
fire proof vaults in the Court House in Easton, and to re-en-
act the following in lieu thereof,

Endorsed "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 67, of the
Code of Public General Laws, title "Notaries Public," by
repealing the first Section thereof, and re-enacting said Sec-
tion with amendments, increasing the number of Notaries
Public in the City of Baltimore, and by adding to said Article
an additional Section, giving. Notaries Public power to take
the acknowledgements of deeds, bills of sale and mortgages,
or other writings, required to be recorded, and to administer
any oaths or affirmations required by law to be made to on
concerning the same,

Endorsed "Reported unfavorably from the Committee on
the Judiciary and report adopted."
On motion by Mr. Gorman,

The Senate, at 2.10 P. M. adjourned.

MONDAY, March 18th, 1876.

Senate met at 12 M.

Prayer by Rev. Father Schwarz.
