stitute, and to repeal Section 22, of Article 16, Section 99, to
103 of the same Article, and Sections 33 to 43, of Article
88, of the Code of Public General Laws, and to re-enact the
same with amendments,

Was read the second time.

The question being upon the engrossment of said bill,

It was determined in the negative.
On motion by Mr. Stevens,

The vote by which said bill failed to be ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading,

Was reconsidered, and,
On motion by Mr. Stevens,

Said bill was ordered to lie over and be made the order of
the day for Tuesday, March 14th, at 2 o'clock.

At 1 P. M,

On motion by Mr. Walsh,
The Senate went into Executive Session.
At 1.10 P. M., the Senate resumed the consideration of
legislative business.

Senate bill entitled no Act to lay out and establish a new
Election District in Frederick county, out of a portion of
Frederick District No. 2, and Creagerstown District No. 4,
to be called "Lewistown District, or Election District No.
19,"

Was rend the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:

AFFIRMATIVE.
Messrs. President, Lee,

Brewer, Lloyd,
Dnke, Newcomer,
Dennis, Phelps,
Freeman, Stevens,
Ford, Steiner,
Getty, Suit—14.
NEGATIVE—None.

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 58, of Article
29, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Courts," sub-
title "Circuit Court of Baltimore," and to re-enact the same
with amendments,

Was read the third time and passed by yeas and nays as
follows:
