On motion by Mr. Stevens,
The rules were suspended, so as to take up,
Senate bill entitled an Act authorizing his Excellency, the
Governor, to apply to the President of the United States for
the appointment of a Board of three Commissioners to be de-

tailed for the survey of the harbor of Baltimore city, and
the adjacent waters, and the establishment of the pier and
bulkhead lines thereof, and appropriating five thousand dol-
lars, to pay the expenses of said Board,

Which was read the second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

On motion by Mr. Mudd,
The rules were suspended so as to take up,
Senate bill entitled an Act to enable Francis S. McDonald
and Mary Jay Frankland, of England, to take and hold cer-
tain lands lying in Charles county, Maryland, which were
held by Frederick Dawson, late of said State, in trust for

certain parties in said Act named.

Which was read the third -time and passed by yeas and
nays as follows:
