442 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Mar. 9,

Mr. Dennis moved to reconsider the vote by which the
amendment heretofore submitted by him was adopted,

Pending the question,

Mr. Dennis, at 1.15 P. M., moved a call of the Senate.

The Sergeant-at-Arms was directed to inform absent Sena-
tors that their presence was required in the Senate Chamber.

Mr. Lloyd moved to suspend further proceedings under the
call,

Upon which motion,

Mr. Phelps called the yeas and nays.

Which was decided in the affirmative by yeas and nays

as follows:
