Mr. Ford, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act for the protection of Partridges,
and to prevent trespassing with dog or gun on private pro-
perty in Carroll county.

Mr. Brewer, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to provide for taking the vote of
the people of Montgomery county, for or against the re-divi-

sion of said county into twelve Election Districts at the elec-
tion to be held in the fall of 1876.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Newcomer, from a Sellect Committee, reported favora-

ably,

House bill entitled an Act to protect game and birds in
Washington county.

Which was read the second time.

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the

Governor to appoint an additional Justice of the Peace in Cave-
town District in Washington county.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Lloyd, from a Select Committee, reported favorably
the following bills :

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the residents of
White Marsh Parish in Talbot county, to make St. Paul's
their Parish Church.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 99, 108, 110,
112 and 113, of Article 20, Public Local Laws, title "Tal-
bot county," sub-title "Oxford," and to re-enact the same
with amendments, also to add additional Sections.

Which were read the second time.

Mr. Duke, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to provide for an additional
Constable in Districts Nos. 2 and 3 of Calvert county.

Which was read the second time.

The President announced the unfinished business to be the

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the General Val-
uation and Assessment of Property in this State.

Mr. Lawrence submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section 2, line 5, after the word "Worship," insert "to-
gether with plate and furniture belonging thereto to the ex-
tent and value of ten thousand dollars."
