The question recurring upon the adoption of the unfavor-
able report,
It was adopted.

Mr. Lloyd, from the Committee on Finance, reported fa-
ably the following bills :

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact
with amendments, Section 6 of Article 69, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Officers," relating to the pub-
lication of lists of defaulting officers.

Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay the claims of Medairy & Bowers.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. McCulloh, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably the following bills :

House bill to amend the charter of the Cumberland and
Pennsylvania Railroad Company.

Which was read the second time.

Also, favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1853, chap-
ter 88, entitled an Act to incorporate the Pittsburg and Con-
nellsville Railroad Company in the State of Maryland.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Ford, from the Committee on Corporations, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the purchasers
of the Queen Anne's and Kent County Railroad Company.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably the following bills :

Senate Mil entitled an Act to provide for the appointment
of State Inspectors of Oils and Fluids, used for illuminating
