properly endorsed—an amendment having been placed to
said bill in the House of Delegates, which did not appear in
the endorsement upon the passage of the bill.

Said bill being, the

Senate bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act enti-
tled an Act to incorporate the Orphans' House and Epis-
copal Free School Society of All Saints' Church, in Fred-
ericktown.

Was then laid before the Senate with the following pro-
posed amendments:

AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Strike out ''Sertion 2," and insert in lieu thereof the fol-
lowing:

"Sec. 2. The General Assembly hereby reserves to itself
the right at any time to repeal, alter or amend this Act."

John Himmelheaver, James E. Tate, McDowell & Co., Sam-
uel Stewart, J. W. Kalmey and Kelley Piet & Co.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Getty, from the Committee on Finance, reported favor-
ably,

Senate bill entitled an Act regulating the working and
proper ventilation of coal mines in Allegany and Garrett
counties, and providing for the approintment of an Inspector
orsaid mines.

Which was read the first time and ordered to be printed.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to amend the 4th Article of the
