77, 78, 79, 80, 81 and 82, of Art. 10, of the Code of Public
Local Laws for said county, and enact the following in lieu
thereof.

Being upon its second reading,

Mr. Phelps submitted the following amendments:
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.

Sec. 79, line 10, after the word "thereafter," insert, "and
three other days between the 1st day of July and the 31st
day of October.''

Sec. 80, line 33, strike out the words "date of levy," and
insert "taxes becoming due."

Which were adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed at the
January Session, 1860, chap. 250, entitled an Act to incor-
porate the Easton Passenger and Freight Railroad Company,
as amended by chap. 376, of the Acts of 1864, and to re-
enact the same with amendments,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 38 of chapter
36, of the Acts of 1864, entitled an Act to add new Sections
to Article 10, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Attachments," providing for attachments on original pro-
43ess, and to re-enact the same with amendments,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to grant certain additional
powers to the Johns Hopkins University, a corporation incor-
porated under the General Laws of Maryland,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

On motion by Mr, Dennis,
The rules were suspended so as to take up
Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland
State Grange of the Patrons of Husbandry.

Which was read the third time and passed by yeas and
nays as follows:
