Mr. Phelps, from Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 90, of Article
10, of the Public Local Laws for Dorchester county, passed
January Session, 1870, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments, and to add a new Section to said Article.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Aydelotie, from a Joint Select Committee on Boun-
dary line, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act to
designate the arbitrators to ascertain and fix the boundary
between the States of Viiginia and Maryland, approved
April 11th, 1874.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Getty, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act for the protection of deer in
Garrett county.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Bannon, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 509, of the
Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to provide for maintaining and
keeping in repair the Public roads in Anne Arundel county,
and to repeal the Act passed at January Session, 1870,
chapter 192, and to re-enact said chapter 192, of the Acts of
1870.

Which was read the first time.

Senate bill entitled an Act to lay out and establish a new
election district in Queen Anne's county, to be culled Ruths-
burg District, or District No, 6,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower the
State's Attorney for Dorchester county, to stet certain cases
on the Docket of the Circuit Court lor said county,

Being upon its second reading,

Mr. Walsh submitted the following amendment:

After "Dorchester," insert "and Caroline," and make
"county," read "counties "

Which was adopted.

Said bill as amended, was then read the second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to grant certain additional
powers to the Johns Hopkins University, a corporation
incorporated under the General Laws of Maryland,

Was taken up and ordered to be printed.
