On motion by Mr. Stevens,

Unanimous consent was granted to Mr. McCulloh, from
Committee on Corporations, to report favorably

Senate bill entitled an Act to grant certain additional
powers to the Johns Hopkins University, a corporation in-
corporated under the General Laws of Maryland.
Which was read the first time.

Senate bill entitled an Act to preserve and define the
harbor of Salisbury, and the channel of Wicomico river in
Wicomico county,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays as
follows :

AFFIRMATIVE.

Ford, Newcomer,

Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize Sarah A. E. Brew-
ington to settle her account as guardian with George P.
Brewington, a minor,

Was read the third time and rejected for want of a con-
stitutional majority, by yeas and nays as follows :
