On motion by Mr. German, (the rules were suspended,)
so as to take up

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 476 of the
Acts of 1870, entitled an Act to provide for the creation and
regulation of Incorporated Companies in the State of Mary-
land, and to enact a substitute therefor.

At 1.15 P. M.

Mr. Gorman moved a call of the Senate.
The Sergeant-at-Arms was directed to inform the absent
Senators that their presence was required in the Senate
Chamber.
At 1.20 P. M.

On motion by Mr. Gorman,

tions to Article 75, of the Code of Public General Laws, title
"Pleading, Practice and Process," sub-title "Process," pro-
viding for a service of a writ of summons or of subpoena,
upon a defendant or defendants being or residing without the
limits of the State of Maryland in certain cases,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 164, of Article
22, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Worcester
