Senate bill entitled an Act to pay to Philip W. Downs
and George N. Russum, a sum of money for services rendered
the State as counsel in the case of the United States vs. Wm.
H. Whitely, an Officer of Registration of the State of Mary-
land for the 1st Election District of Caroline county,

Was read the third time and rejected by yeas and nays as

Was ordered to lie over and be made the cider of the day
