24 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Jan. 11,

Mr. Stevens, from Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the Gov-
ernor to convey a portion of the State Hay Scales lot, in the
city of Baltimore, to the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more.

Which was read the first time.
On motion by Mr. Stevens,

The rules were suspended so as to give said bill a second
reading this day, as follows:
