Mr. Cooper presented the memorial of Ann E. Zachary,
widow of William Zachary, a soldier of the war of 1812,
praying that a pension he granted to her

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Mr. Dennis presented the memorial of certain citizens of
Somerset county, praying an amendment to the Act, of 1874,
chapter 181, relating to the taking and catching of Oysters.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.

Also, by Mr. Dennis,

The memorial of certain citizens of Somerset county, pray-
ing an amendment of the law, relating to the measurement
of Oysters.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Chesapeake Hay and its Tributaries.

Also, by Mr. Dennis,

The memorial of certain citizens oi Somerset county, for a
change in the Local Law of Somerset county, relating to the
taking and catching of Oysters.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Dennis, Hum-
phreys and Aydelotte.

Also, by Mr. Dennis.

The memorial of certain citizens of Somerset county, pray-
ing the enactment of a Local option Law, in certain districts
in Somerset county.

Which was read and relerred to the Committee on Fi-
nance.

Mr. Walsh presented the memorial of E. H. Webster and
others, citizens of Harford county, praying that a pension be
granted to Jemima Preston, widow of Thos. Preston, a
soldier of the war of 1812.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.

Also, by Mr, Walsh,

The memorial of Dr. Thos Littig, and others, citizens of
Harford county, protesting against the passage of a law pro-
viding the appointment of a County Treasurer.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Fi-
nance.

Mr. Dennis presented the memorial of Geo. H. Edgar, and
others, against the extension of Camden or Conway streets.

Which was read and referred to the Baltimore city Sena-
tors.
