Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill to regulate the speed of railroad
trains when crossing each other on grade.
On motion by Mr. Stevens,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend section
seven of the Act passed February 4, 1864, chapter six, enti-
tled "an Act to. add certain additional sections relating to
the Superior Court of Baltimore city and to the Court of
Common Pleas in Baltimore city to the fourth Article of
Public Local Laws regulating the return of process, and the
taking of judgments in said Courts."

Leave was granted to Messrs. Bannon, Stevens, Cooper
and Joyce to introduce a bill to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore and the County Commissioners fer
Anne Arundel county to purchase Light Street Bridge at a
fair valuation, or failing so to purchase, to build a bridge at
or near said bridge across the Patapsco River.
On motion by Mr. Stevens,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled an Act supplementary to "an Act
to incorporate the Citizens Railway Company of Baltimore
City," passed at the January session, 1870.

Leave was granted to Messrs. Suit, Stevens and Aydelotte
to introduce a bill to incorporate an Abattoir Company in
the City of Baltimore.
On motion by Mr. Aydelotte,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Aydelotte, Dennis and Hum-
phreys to report a bill to give the sanction of the General As-
sembly of Maryland to the bequests of John Gunby, late of
Coshocton county, Ohio, deceased, to the commissioners of
the Presbyterian church at Snow Hill.
