at large within the limits of Garrett county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Getty, Ford and Lawrence.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to provide for the assessment
and taxation of the property of Railroad Companies in this
State, for county and municipal purposes, and to repeal all
laws, or parts of laws, inconsistent with the provisions of
this Act.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller to
refund to Edgar Plummer, Hiram G. Dudley, David Riley,
H. D. M. Howard, L. C. Graves, Charles R. Hamilton, Wil-
liam Hoffman and J. H. Marshall, the sum of forty dollars
each, erroneously paid into the Treasury.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act for the protection of Partridges
and Rabbits, and to prevent trespassing with dog or gun on
private property in Kent and Queen Anne's counties.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Hep-
bron, Ford and Lloyd.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor and
City Council of Cumberland, to issue bonds to complete and
furnish the City Hall and Market, in the City of Cumber-
land.

Culloh, Lloyd and Getty.

Also,

House bill entitled a supplement to the Acts incorporating
the Western Maryland Railroad Company, and conferring
new powers on said Company.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to refund to Dennis Cookson, of
Carroll county, a certain sum of money erroneously paid
into the Treasury.
