Which was read the first time.

Mr. Ford, from Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate hill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1874, chap.
436, entitled an Act for the better protection of Partridges in
Queen Anne's county, and also to add additional Sections to
the Code.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Suit, from Select Committee, reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed at Jan-
nary Session, 1874, chapter 278, relating to fences in Prince
George's county.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Walsh submitted the following message :

BY THE SENATE,

January 28th, 1876.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We propose, with the concurrence of your Honorable
Body, that the Committees on the State Library of the two
Houses, be authorized to uct as a Joint Standing Committee
on the State Library.

By order,

AUGUSTUS GASSAWAY,

Secretary.

Which was read, assented to and sent to the House of

Delegates.

Mr. Knight, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to regulate the pay of the

State's Attorney tor Cecil county.
Which was read the second time.

Mr. Getty, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act authorizing the County Com-

missioners of Garrett county to levy money for the payment

of wolf or other scalps destroyed within the limits of said

county,

With the following amendments:

SEC. 1. Line 4, strike out all after the word "dollars" to
the word "for."

Line 5, strike out all after the word "dollars" to the word
"and."

Which were adopted.

Said bill, as amended, was then read the second time.
