On motion by Mr. Getty,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill entitled an Act ti repeal Section 20
of Article 50, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Ju-
ries," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

On motion by Mr. Brewer,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to incorporate the National
Railroad Company of Maryland.

Mr. McCulloh, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland
State Grange of the Patrons of Husbandry.
Which was read the first time.

Also, favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act granting additional powers to
the Potomac Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore.

Which was read the first time.

Also, favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the
Merchants' and Miners' Transportation Company.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Ford from the Committee on the Library, reported
favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act authorizing the State Librarian
to furnish for the use of the Circuit Court for Wicomico
eounty, a full set of the Decisions of the Court of Appeals,
and of the Acts of Assembly and other books.

Mr. Lloyd, from the Committee on Finance, reported favor-
ably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
for the purpose of making repairs and additions to the furni-
tnre of the Executive Mansion.
