STATE OF MARYLAND,

EXECUTIVE DEPAETMENT,

Annapolis, April 21st, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland :

I have the honor to nominate Charles Hobbs as Officer of
Registration for 9th district of Frederick county, vice Charles
Wood, declined.

JOHN LEE CARROLL.

On motion by Mr. Steiner,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments.

Mr. Walsh, from the Committee on Executive Nominations,
to which had been referred the nominations of William
Shultz and George M. Shaw, of the 5th district, and Henry
J. Krise, of the 6th district, as Assessors for Frederick
county, reported the Committee were of opinion that said
nominations ought to be confirmed.

Whereupon, the Senate advised and consented to said
nominations.


STATE OF MARYLAND,

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,

Annapolis, April 20th, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland :

I have the honor to nominate Julius Ochs as Commissioner
of Deeds at Knoxville, Tennessee.

On motion by Mr. Gorman,

The Senate advised and consented to the appointment of
Board of Control and Assessors for Howard county agreeably
to the nominations of the 21st inst.
