The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments.

STATE OF MARYLAND,

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,

Annapolis, Feb. 8, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I have the honor to request the withdrawal of the name of
Jackson Dorney from the nominations of Justices of the
Peace for 2nd district of Harford county, and substitution of
that of John Price

JOHN LEE CARROLL.

On motion by Mr. Walsh,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointment.

STATE OF MARYLAND,

EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT,

Annapolis, Feb. 8, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I have the honor to request the substitution of the name of
Daniel Barron as Justice of the Peace for the 2nd district of
Prince George's county, in the place of Francis Gasche, who
declines the nomination. And also the substitution of the
name of Bennett C. Scott in place of that of Parkenham Scott,
nominated us Officer of Registration in the 2nd district of the
said county.

On motion by Mr. Suit,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments.

On motion by Mr. Knight,

The Senate resumed the consideration of Legislative busi-
