Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Protestant In-
fant Asylum of Baltimore city to bind out and control the
children under its care.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Committee
on Corporations.
The Secretary of the Senate delivered,
Senate bill entitled an Act authorizing His Excellency, the
Governor, to apply to the President of the United Stated far
the appointment of a Board of three Commissioners to be
detached for the survey of the harbor of Baltimore city, and
the adjacent waters, and the establishment of the pier and
bulkhead lines thereof, and appropriating $5,000 to pay the
expenses of such Board.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Baltimore
city delegation.
Also,
The House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Elkton
and Delaware Junction Railroad Company.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays with proposed amend-
ments:"
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Add to end of Section 26, "and the General Assembly
hereby reserves the right to alter, amend or repeal this Act at
pleasure."
' Sec. 27. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect,
from the date of its passage."
The amendments were adopted.
