The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 87, of Arti-
cle 75, Maryland Code of Public General Laws title "Pleading,
Practice and Process," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Line 15, after word "prove," insert, '"to have the same
effect as if testified to by such witness at the trial of the
same before the jury."

favorably,
The bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 82, 83, 84 and
85, of Article 6, of the Code of Public Local Laws for Caro-
line county, sub title "Fences," and to enact instead a law
to prevent stock running at large in said county, in the first
election district, or Henderson's district.

State's Attorneys of the seveial counties of this State for ser-
vices rendered as counsel for the Officers of Registration, at
required by the Act of 1874, chapter 490.

passed at the January Session of the General Assembly, in
