We propose, with the concurrence of your Honorable Body,
that the Committees on Public Buildings of the two Houses,
be authorized to act as a Joint Committee on Public Build-
ings.

Mr. Brooke submitted the following message :
BY THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES,
January 19th, 1876.
Gentlemen of the Senate :
We have received your message proposing that the Com-
mittee on Public Buildings of the House, be authorized to act
as a Joint Standing Committee on Public Buildings, and con-
cur therein.

Which was read, assented to and sent to the Senate.
sThe Secretary of the Senate delivered the following mes-
age:

January 18th, 1876.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:
Barnes Compton, Esq., having been elected State Treasu-
rer, we propose, with the concurrence of your Honorable
Body, that the Presiding Officer of the two Houses address to
him a joint letter informing him of his election.
