Neal, Purnell, Onley, Riggs, Hinks, Naill, Koons, Rut-
ledge, Boyle, Vandiver, Culbreth, Goldsborough, Rusk,
Berkemeier, Lewis, McWilliams, Hoblitzeil, McGlone, Co-
burn, Stewart, McAleese, Hart, Loane, Chaisty, Hess, Harig,
Sanders, Fenton, Scott, Farrow, Ranger, Jones, Griffith,
Rawlings, Atkinson, Sprigg, Brooke, Brown, Rinehart, La-
motte, Waters, of Car'l, Donaldson, Clark, Dashiell, Gordy,
Barnard, Browning—70.
Mr. Robinson presented the petition of Thomas G. Trott,
Geo. W. Murdoch and 28 others, of the city of Annapolis,
asking for Local Option.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Tem-
perance.
Mr. Rinehart presented the petition from Absalom Smith,
Geo. A. Flickinger and 55 other citizens of Carroll county,
to the Legislature of Maryland, not to pass any law prohibit-
ing the catching of fish in Frederick and Carroll counties.
Which was read and referred to the Carroll and Frederick
county delegations.
Mr. Lamotte presented the petition of Mary Ogg, asking
to be restored to the pension list.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pensions.
Mr. Rinehart presented a petition from Thomas F. Shep-
herd, Joseph S. Haines and 60 other citizens of Carroll
county, asking exemption from the provisions of the General
Law exempting the sum of one hundred dollars from attach-
ments.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary
Mr. Gill presented the memorial of the barbers against a
repeal of the Barbers Sunday Law.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary.
Mr. Gill presented the petition of P. M. Snowden and
others, opposing the putting down of a double track for street
cars on Madison Avenue extended, between North Avenue
and the Park.
Which was read and referred to the Baltimore city and
Baltimore county delegations.
Mr Naill presented the petition of D. C. Kemp, Wm. M.
Feage and 191 other citizens of Frederick district, Frederick
county, asking for the creation of a new election district.
Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.
The following order was read :
