of licenses for the sale of Spirituous Liquors in this State, so
far as the same applies to Frederick, Cecil and Garrett
counties.
No. 56. An Act, a supplement to an Act passed at the
January Session, 1860, chapter 267, entitled an Act to in-
corporate a company to open in part and improve the road
from Frederick city in Frederick, to the Spout Spring, on
the Hamburg road, passing Bradrup's saw mill, as reserved
by an Act passed at the January Session, 1868, chapter 213,
entitled an Act to revive an Act incorporating a company to
open and improve the road from Frederick city, in Frederick
county, to the Spout Spring, on the Hamburg road, passing
Bradrup's saw mill, passed at January Session, 1860, chapter
267, and as amended by the Act passed at the January Ses-
sion, 1870, chapter 277, entitled an Act to repeal so much of
Section 12, chapter 267, of the Act passed March, 1860, en-
titled an Act to incorporate a company to open in part and
improve the road from Frederick city, in Frederick county,
to the Spout Spring, &c., as relates to the rates of toll, and
enact the iollowing in stead, viz:
No. 57. An Act for the protection of partridges and rab-
bits, and to prevent the trespassing with dog or gun on pri-
vate property in Kent, Talbot and Queen Anne's Counties.

On motion of Mr. Mattingly,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Chesapeake
Bay and its Tributaries to introduce a bill to authorize the
payment of J. Lewis Milburn, of St. Mary's county, for
official service rendered under the Oyster Police Law.
On motion of Mr. Smith,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
report a bill authorizing the County Commissioners of Balti-
more county, to pay Samuel K. Griffith his per diem as
Judge of the Orphans' Court of said county, while absent
on account of sickness.
On motion of Mr. Given,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a bill to repeal Section 193, of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Baltimore county, sub-title "Sheriff," passed
at the January Session of the Legislature of Maryland, in
the year 1874, chapter 409, and re-enact the same.
Mr; Hodges, Chairman of the Committee on Federal Re-
lations, reported favorably
The Joint Resolutions received from the Senate with refer-
ence to the State of Louisiana.
