So the amendment was rejected.
Mr. Hoblitzell proposed the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Add to Section 66, "nothing contained in the 2d Section of
this Act shall apply in any manner to affect the Tobacco In-
spectors and the Supervisor of Warehouses already appointed,
but shall only apply at the end of the term for which they
liave been appointed under the law which this Act repeals."
Which was adopted.
Mr. Naill moved to suspend the rules in order to permit
him to offer an amendment to a Section of the bill, passed.
