Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments Section 5, of Article 13, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Bastardy and Fornication," and also to add ad-
ditional Sections to said Article.
Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1864, chapter
194, the Act of 1867, chapter 368, the Act of 1868, chapter
128, the Act of 1872, chapters 36 and 228, and the Act of
1874, chapter 394, relating to the Inspection of Tobacco and
Tobacco Warehouses, and enact in lieu thereof the following,
Was considered, and made the special order of the day for
Monday, March 13th, at.l o'clock, P. M.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal Chapter 45 of the Laws
of 1874, entitled an act to repeal Section 36, of Article 10
of the Public General Laws of this State, entitled "Attach-
ments," and re-enact the same with an amendment, increasing
the amount of the exemption in said Section mentioned, and
to re-enact said Section 36, of Article 10, of the Public Gen-
eral Laws of this State, entitled "Attachments,"
Being upon its second reading,
Mr. Constable proposed the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Strike out all after the word "repealed," in line 6, of Sec-
tion 1, to the end of Section 36,
The question being on the adoption of this amendment,
Mr. Fenton demanded the yeas and nays,
The demand being sustained,
The yeas and nays were called and appeared as follows :
