A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Comptroller to
draw his warrant on the Treasurer for a sum of money suf-
ficient to reimburse Sprigg Harwood for money erroneously
paid into the State Treasury, and to direct said Sprigg Har-
wood to pay the County School Commisioners for Anne
Arundel county.

A bill entitled an Act to empower Joshua Wirner, Sr.,
and Mary Ann Simpers, his step-daughter, both of Carroll
county, to marry, each the other, and to legitimate their
children.
Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel county to construct a bridge over
Beard's creek in said county, and to levy a sum of money for
said purpose.
Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 2, of chapter 2,
Section 8, of chapter 4, and Section 3, of chapter 10, of an
Act passed January Session, 1872, chapter 377, entitled an
Act to repeal an Act passed at the January Session, of 1870,
entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed at January Session,
1868, entitled "Public Education," providing a general system
of free Public Schools for the State of Maryland, and to re-
peal all laws inconsistent therewith, and to re-enact the same
with amendments, in so far as the same relates to Harford
county, and to substitute the following Sections in lieu
thereof, to apply to Harford county, and to be arranged in
Public Local Laws, Article 12, title "Harford County."

Also,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 3, of the Act of
-the General Assembly of Maryland, of 1864, chapter 44, en-
titled a supplement to the Act entitled an Act to incorporate
the Frederick and Emmittsburg Turnpike Company, passed
December Session, 1844, chapter 136, and re-enact the same
with amendments.
Which was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.
