Which was read and referred to the Committee on Educa-
tion.
Mr. Chaisty presented the petition of 200 citizens of Balti-
more, against the repeal of the law known as the "Barbers'
Sunday Law."
Which was read and referred to the Committee on the
Judiciary.
The following bills were presented to His Excellency, the
Governor, for his approval this 10th day of March, 1876:
No. 54. An Act to extend the chapter of the Grand Divi-
sion of the State of Maryland, of the Order of the Sons df
of Tamperance, passed at December Session, 1845, chapter
159.
No. 55. An Act to repeal the Act passed at January Ses-
sion, 1874, chapter 439, entitled an Act to regulate the issu-
ing of licenses for the sale of Spirituous and Fermented Liquors
in this State, so far as the same applies to Frederick, Cecil
and Garrett counties.
No. 56. An Act a supplement to an Act passed at the Jan-
uary Session, 1860, ch. 267, entitled an Act incorporating
a Company to open in part and improve the road from Fred-
erick city, in Frederick county, to the Spout Spring, on the
Hanburg Road, passing Bradrup's Saw-Mill, as revived by
an Act passed at the January Session, 1868, ch. 213, entitled
an Act to revive an Act incorporating a Company to open in
part, and to improve the read from Frederick city, in Fred-
erick county, to the Spout Spring on the Hamburg Road,
passing Bradrup's Saw-Mill, passed at the January Session,
1860, ch. 267, and as amended by the Act passed at January
Session, 1870, ch. 277, entitled an Act to repeal so much of
Section 12, ch. 267 of the Act passed March, 1860, enti-
tled an Act to incorporate a Company to open and improve
the road from Frederick city, in Frederick county, to the
Spout Spring, &c., as relates to rates of toll, and enact the
following instead, viz:
No. 67. An Act for the protection of Partridges and Rab-
bits, and to prevent trespassing with dog or gun on private
propety in Kent, Talbot and Queen Anne's counties.
