On motion of Mr. Fenton, it was
Ordered, That when notices of the meetings of Committees
are sent to the Clerk's desk, such notices shall be read by the
Clerk before adjournment.
On motion of Mr. Baldwin,
Ordered, That hereafter this House meet at 10 o'clock, and
that evening sessions be discontinued.

On motion of Mr. Ward,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Education, to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Cecil county, to fund certain indebtedness of
the Board of County School Commissioners of Cecil county,
and levy a tax for the payment of the same.
On motion of Mr. Boyle,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Rutledge, Boyle and Vandi-
ver, to introduce a bill to repeal the Act of 1874, ch. 439, in
so far as the same relates to Harford county, and enact the
following in lieu thereof, to apply to Harford county.
On motion of Mr. Briscoe,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims, to intro-
duce a bill to refund to Jethro McCauley, of Cecil county, cer-
tain monies erroneously paid into the Treasury.
On motion of Mr. Naill,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations, to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 176 of ch.
314, of an Act passed by the General Assembly of Maryland
at January Session, 1870, entitled an Act to add additional
Sections to Art. 11, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Fred-
erick county, relating to the powers and duties of the Mayor,
Aldermen and Common Council of Frederick, to follow Sec-
cion 169, added thereto, by the Act of 1868, ch. 87, and to
enact a substitute in lieu thereof.
On motion of Mr. Dashiell,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations, to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the
Eastern Shore Railroad Company, and its supplements, and
to authorize the said Company to adjust its bonded debt with
its creditors.
