Mr. Gill presented the petition of David Horn and others
against the sale of liquor in the vicinity of Druid Hill Park.

Mr. Gordy presented the petition of H. P. Lewis, Wm. S.
Burbage and others in favor of a change in the lines of
Pittsburg and Dennis districts, in Wicomico county.
Which was read and referred to Messrs. Gordy, Dashiell
and Purnell.
Also,
The petition of Leonard Timanus, James H. West and
others remonstrating against any change in the lines binding
Pittsburg and Dennis districts, in Wicomico county.
Which was read and referred to Messrs, Gordy, Dashiell
and Purnell.
Mr. Hooper presented the petition of John Luts, R. But-
ner and fifty-six others, of Baltimore county, asking for a
law governing the employment of prisoners in the Maryland
Penitentiary.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Ways
and Means.
Also,
The petition of Mrs. J. L. Timanus and one hundred citi-
zens of Baltimore county for the passage of a law prohibiting
the sale of intoxicating liquors within three quarters of a
mile of Mount Vernon Mills.
Which was read and referred to the Baltimore county
delegation.
Mr. Naill presented the memorial of Dennis Ramsburg and
ninety-eight other citizens of Harrisonville, in Frederick
