On motion of Mr. Naill,.
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 20 of Ar-
ticle 28 of the Code of Public General Laws, title "County
Commissioners," sub-title "Public Roads/' and the Act of
General Assembly, passed January Session, 1874, chapter
423, entitled an Act to repeal Section 20 of Article 28 of the
Code of Public General Laws aforesaid, as amended by said
Act and re-enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Browning,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Barnard, Browning and Raw-
lings to introduce a bill entitled an Act authorizing and re-
quiring the County Commissioners of Garrett county to re-
fund to Alexander Kitsmiller certain county taxes paid by
him in excess or error.
On motion of Mr, Whitelock,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the Commission-
ers of Baltimore county to sell the bonds held by them for
the purpose of paying the indebtedness of the said county.
On motion of Mr. Goldsborough,
Leave was granted to the Caroline, Talbot and Dorchester
delegations to introduce a bill entitled an Act to allow the
residents of Caroline county to take or catch oysters in the
waters of the Choptank river, with scoop, scrape, rakes, or
songs.
On motion of Mr. Scott,
Leave was granted to the Washington county delegation,
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the Mayor
and Council of Hagerstown to license and regulate omni-
buses, hacks and other vehicles in said town.
On motion of Mr. Atkinson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend and add addi-
tional Sections to the charter of the Westernport and Poto-
mac Railroad Company, chapter 219, laws of 1853.
On motion of Mr. Neai,.
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to provide for the payment of a
sum of money to John H. Hanly for professional services
rendered the State, under appointment by the Governor in
pursuance of the Senate Joint Resolutions of the Legislature
of 1874.
