entitled "Public Education," providing a general system of
free public schools for the State of Maryland, and to repeal
all laws inconsistent therewith, and to re-enact the same
with amendments, in so far as the same relates to Harford
county, and to substitute the following Sections in lieu
thereof, to apply to Harford county, and to be arranged in
Public Local Laws, Article 12, title "Harford County."

Mr. Hinks, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Fredercck county to adjust and settle the account
of William R. Dorsey, Register of Voters for the Woodville
Election District, number 18, of said county, by paying him
such compensation for extra services by him rendered, as
Register aforesaid, as they may deem right and proper.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Browning, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 8, of Article 1, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Allegany county,"
sub-title "Oakland," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Mr. Hoblitzell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 1 and 2, of chapter
401, an Act passed January Session, 1874, entitled an Act
to repeal certain sections therein enumerated, of Article 4, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, and supplement thereto, title
"City of Baltimore," sub-title "Court" substituting others
in lieu thereof and to re-enact the same so as to read as fol-
lows.

Mr. Jones, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,
A bill entitled an Act to provide for taking the vote of the
people of Montgomery county for or against the re-division of
saia county into twelve election districts, at the election to be
held in the Fall of 1876.

Mr. Hodges, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chapter
390, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel
