93, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Testamen-
tary Law," sub-title "Distribution," and re-enact the same,

The bill was substituted for the unfavorable report of the
Committee, and ordered to be printed.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 29 and 30, of
Article 5, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Appeals," sub-title "Provisions," relating to appeals from
Courts of Law or Equity, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments,
Being considered as the order of the day,
The question recurring upon the motion to substitute the
bill for the unfavorable report,
It was decided in the negative, and
The report of the Committee was adopted.
The bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments Section 22, of an Act passed at January Session 1870,
chapter 182, entitled an Act to repeal an Act of January Ses-
sion. 1868, chapter 414, and to re-enact in lieu thereof cer-
tain Sections, to be arranged in the Code of Public General
Laws, under an Article to be entitled "Military,"
Was read a second time, and
On motion of Mr. Hoblitzell,
Was referred to the Baltimore city delegation.
Mr. Hodges submitted Joint Resolutions in relation to the
improvement of the harbor of Annapolis.

The House proceeded to the consideration of the bill enti-
tled an Act to legalize the revised Code of Public General
and Public Local Laws of Maryland, prepared by Lewis
Mayer, Lewis C. Fircher and E. J. D. Crop, and to pur-
chase copies of the same.
