WHEREAS, There was on the 23rd ultimo, in pursuance of
an order of this House, a communication laid before this
House from the Comptroller of the Treasury with regard to
the accounts between the State and the Baltimore and Ohio
Railroad Company, which was ordered to be printed, but
which has not yet been laid on the desks of Members.
Ordered, That the Committee on Printing be directed to
inquire into the cause of such delay, and report the same to
this House at to-morrow morning's Session.
On motion Mr. Loane, (the rules being suspended)
submitted the following:
WHEREAS, The file of Senate bills on the desks of the Mem-
bers of this House are incomplete, being only up to No. 59,
while the Senate bills are printed up to No. 80 ; therefore,
Ordered, That the proper officers of this House be directed
to pay particular attention to that part of their duty, which
requires the placing on the files of Senate and House bills all
the bills as soon as printed,
The hour having arrived for taking up the order of the
day,
The House proceeded to the consideration of
The bill entitled an Act making appropriations for the sup-
port of the Government for 1876,
Which was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays
as follows:
