On motion of Mr. Hoblitzell,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary, to
introduce a bill to regulate the mode aud manner of execut-
ing the death penalty.
On motion of Mr. Loane,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations, to
introduce a bill to amend the charter of the Consolidated
Copper Company of Baltimore city.
On motion of Mr. Hance,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Ways and Means,
to introduce a bill to refund to Jas. H. S. Gibbons, J. H.
Rawlings, & Co., J. W. Childs, W. W. Berry and Gieske &
Niemann, monyes erroneously paid by them as outage and
storage on tobacco.
On motion of Mr. Waters, of Carroll,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims, to intro-
duce a bill to refund Jeremiah Robertson, Trustee, for State
taxes paid in error.
On motion of Mr. Ward,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims, to intro-
duce a bill tor the relief of Caleb B. Sanders, Frank F.
Myers and Geo. B. Pennington of Cecil county.
On motion of Mr. Waters, of Carrol],
Leave was granted to the Carroll delegation, to introduce a
bill entitled an Act, authorizing the Commissioners of Carroll
county, to levy a certain sum of money to refund Jeremiah
Robertson, Trustee, for county taxes paid in error as per
statement of Commissions of said county.
On motion of Mr, Ward,
Leave was granted to the Cecil delegatioa, to introduce a
bill for the protection of Wild Fowl in the waters of Elk river,
Cecil county,
On motion of Mr. Naill,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Library, to
introduce a bill to authorize the State Librarian to furnish
the Librarian of Congress of the United States, such copies
of the Reports, Laws, Journals and Documents of the State
of Maryland, of which he may have duplicates, as can be
spared from the State Library, not exceeding in any case, two
copies of such volumes.
On motion of Mr. Hinks,
Leave was granted to the Frederick delegation, to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Frederick county, to adjust and settle the accounts
of William R. Dorsey, Register of Voters for Woodvilla elec-
